I bought these because I wanted to use one to send videos to my daughter and the other to my mother, but they were packaged like the picture , so what's a guy to do? Seriously, I'm happy with the durability, looks and functionality of these sticks. I tested two of them with FlashBench (see figure). The best read speeds were around 60 MB/s and the highest write speeds were around 20 MB/s. I tested another 64GB USB 3 drive from perhaps the most popular SSD manufacturer and saw 142MB/s read and 53MB/s write. They are described as USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1. They are individually packaged in cards labeled USB 3.2 Gen 1. FlashBench recognized them as USB 3.0. They're faster than USB 2.0, but half the size of a similarly sized USB 3 flash drive from at least one competitor. I remember once buying a new Maxtor 2.7GB hard drive from a well-known chain store for over $300.
