Review on Stride Rite Summer Sandal Toddler by Roberto Manzer

Bad design, how these sandals fit the heel and strap

I always buy Stride Rite sandals, but these are the first ones I find inferior. The fact that they look like a T-strap, but the velcro of the strap over the "T" looks unattractive - they have to go through the "T" and not overlap it. Also, the back of the shoe is so unstable on my daughter's foot that I am returning it. Why this sandal was made with an open back is unclear - it lacks the construction to securely hold a child's foot in place. Because of this, her foot kept slipping from behind. The front of the sandal is charming and fits well, the leather is of good quality as is the sole of the shoe. However, due to the fact that the shoe really fits the foot, this is not a good sandal for summer games and definitely not worth the money.
