This is actually my second purchase of this brush. I have found this class of brush to be ideal for professional results when pre-cleaning carpet and/or upholstery stains. When used with a power drill, this allows for more dirt and soil to be broken up, allowing your steam cleaner to pull the dirt out of the material. I needed a second one to split the fitment between flooring and upholstery. Be careful what kind of brush you need for your project so you don't damage the materials you're working with. This special brush was developed for fabrics such as carpets or upholstery. There are others, such as B. Heavy Duty, which are designed for outdoor use.
