I recently reviewed our budget to see where we could cut costs. Along the same lines, I've been trying to find ways to be less wasteful. I chose cloth napkins. I'm not sure if that saves money compared to paper napkins. It may be years before I pay off. However, I feel so much better without throwing the towels away and I am blown away by how much better cloth towels are for wiping my hands and face! I probably used them so seldom before this purchase that I had no idea how much more effective they are than paper! I've washed them a few times a week so far and they're holding up great. The size is great too. They have not faded and the fabric seems to be holding up well. I chose black because I figured they might not get dirty that easily, but I forgot I have a light-colored dog, so sometimes I find dog hair on them! they seem to attract hair, threads and fluff. I'm not sure if it's because of their black color or the fabric they're made of. But they work well and I'm happy with the purchase.
