I love the way these placemats look. I was disappointed that they were woven and not solid. I need to place a paper towel under them to absorb any spills.They are a bit difficult to clean. I need to place them in the sink with dish washing liquid and wash them individually. Then they must be thoroughly rinsed. Still they stick to your arm when back on the table and in use.They appear to be somewhat durable, but the waffle weave makes them easy to be injured.

These are lovely placemats. I purchased two sets for Christmas Eve dinner. Unfortunately, some red sauce spilled on one and it did not come out with washing. We used dish washing detergent and a soft brush and the stains are still there. We can use the other side now, but I cannot use them on a daily basis as I had hoped, for fear of future stains. After washing, we learned we could not use a terry dishcloth for drying, as the "fuzz" sticks to the place mats, so we had to sort of drape them…

These come tightly wound in a roll. And being made of plastic they hold that form. They instructed you to place them in a hot water bath so they relax and straighten out. I'm sure that would work, I used a steamer.That being said since they are plastic I definitely wouldn't set a hot pot on them like you could a cloth one. But they look nice and function as a normal place mat. The long runner won't conform to an edge of a table. It just sticks off and looks a little off.

So far so good. We're a family of six with four kids and so far these things are holding up well. No fraying or loss of color, or staining. Even with purple juice, spaghetti sauce, and markers. We bought two sets of these in red and black so we could swap them out when they get dirty. I can't attest to the heat resistance, since they're just plastic I make a point to keep hot things off of them, but for a normal dinner plate piled with hot food They do fine.

I used these on my wooden table and they are nice and no hot food has burned through or damaged the table but cleaning is an actual chore. If you spill food on it the food stains and the stains will stay no matter how much you wipe or scrub at it. THis annoys me because my money for house wares is limited so I feel this is a waste

Bought these for my mom. She loves them! She is a very practical person who never buys anything for herself. We used hand towels before we bought these placemats. But these placemats have changed our dinner hosting game. They are very easy to use and clean, they look very high-quality for a low price, and they are reversible. I will be buying these for my own house someday!

These are some placemats I bought to make the place look better. They are not water proof as there are lots of holes. They also stain from some spills. Ib have tossed them in the washing machine a few times and they held up well.

I really loved this product it looks exactly like the picture! Only downfall is when you have pasta night or any red sauce gets on it it stains and won't wipe clean! It would be perfect for decorating your table or if you don't have little ones.

I do like these placemats they are somewhat non skid meaning they won't shuck around as easily as a cloth mat would. I especially like that fact I can cut them to fit the space I need them in and the pieces I've removed can be used as a decorative piece in the middle of the table. I'm a Happy Customer. Thank you

Placemats look beautiful, but they are mesh. so anything you spill cannot be easily wiped up and leaks through to table.

Awesome easy wipe clean placemats. The extremely long table mat was an added bonus that allows me to dress up a second dining table or place down the center of my 6ft kitchen island.The material appears to be either nylon, plastic or a combination of both so do not place anything hot from the stove on them.

I really like the color (kind of a light golden), texture, and the material they are made from. Only issue was it wasn't clear that the type of fabric/vinyl, allows liquid spills and crumbs through to other side. It's more of a mesh. They look really good on the dark wood table I have,.

These look amazing on my new table. I love them. But when my kids spill liquid, it goes directly through it. Pretty easy to clean but I have to wait for them to dry and it takes a while.
