I was skeptical but this thing is beautiful.

I was very skeptical as I feel I have tried so many curling irons/curlers/mufflers/brushes. My favorite was the heated curling "brush" which did a great job when I wanted curls to hold for an hour or so, but then they curled up again. Second best, I liked my trusty/real curlers, but I didn't like that they weren't very portable, took up a lot of space, and I never learned how to put them on properly every time. My curling iron was in third place, but my uneven layers and impatience meant my curls almost never looked right. I will say that this thing took some time to get used to. I planned it I told myself I wouldn't give up until I shook him vigorously. And I'm happy to report that if you follow the directions carefully and learn how to position the curlers and your hands/hair/fingers a bit, it's well worth it. Hold your device straight up. Divide your hair into sections and work one strand at a time to avoid pinching unruly hair. If it accidentally grabs the hair and starts pulling, stop pressing the button and just gently pull down to release all the hair. At first glance, it looks like this curler will tangle your hair and turn it into a mess. But if you are patient, you will get comfortable, and then all guesswork will go away. I can use larger strands of hair than usual to give the style a "head part" look. My curls last for days and I have curly, moisture-prone hair. So this time I have to give something the time and compliments it deserves in hopes it helps someone else find this thing sooner!
