I wouldn't buy this if I were you! It turned out to be awful, and the noise comes and goes. So I'm pretty sure it's defective and I'll have to send it back. You might think that something costing $70 would work better. I thought paying more would do it, but that's definitely not the case. The one my brother gave me was exactly the same brand but better. So judging by the many reviews I think they were right. The sound is garbled and there is no point in adjusting the volume. I even replaced the extension cord with the one I had and it still didn't help like I first thought! Sennheiser quality isn't what it used to be. I was hoping they would work because I don't want to worry about how loud my sound will be once it's in good condition. But it was awful and opening the package was agony too. Now I'm going to send them back by the way.
