This handy protective case has proven very useful over the last few months. With young children in the house, our top priority was protecting the iPad from accidental drops, and it's already had quite a few training sessions. We followed the instructions exactly when packing and were very satisfied. There seem to be spots where you can see the gap between the film and the screen surface, and if you're the kind of person who worries about such details, be aware. The home button also remains visible, so while this case will prevent water from getting on the screen, it won't protect your home button if someone decides to spill a glass of water or something similar on it. A small feature I really like is the stand on the back, which allows me to place the iPad vertically on the counter, use it as a recipe book (hey, it makes my bulging recipe collection paperless!) or while I watch videos. I also like that the external buttons are very easy to use and cover the screen's power button and volume controls. We have a Lifebox case on our iPad Mini which makes the buttons quite difficult to press and it's nice that this case is easier to use. - Submersible fan is required.
