A piece of plastic remains.
There was a piece of plastic on the tube that goes into the motor that was out of the mold, the excess plastic had to be sanded off. The unit does not fit exactly like the OEM, it has a gap of about 1mm where the OEM was flush. Replacing this part cleared the fault code, but I would pay an additional $10 for the Honda brand if I had to rebuild.
