If the mosquito larvae didn't fall properly, the fish wouldn't be able to catch them. The bowl fell off the suction cup less than 3 hours after being placed in the aquarium. Then I had to fish it out and all the worms weren't eaten and the tank got dirty quicker. Would never buy them again.
