Review on Ranger SRA-198 Noise Canceling Mic for CB Ham Radios - 4 Pin Wired by Jimmy Jefferson

Received this mic a few days ago and was impressed with the high quality of build. It feels good in the hand and is a good weight for its size. It's not unnecessarily big. The hanger button is made of chrome steel and also has a steel connection point above the hanger button for a safety wire. The sound quality is very good and the output level of the microphone lets my Galaxy DX979 work with full modulation right away. It's a close-talking mic like most noise-cancelling mics. The rubber bumper acts as a range finder; it should lightly touch your upper lip when speaking to ensure full performance.
