The dress is really beautiful and well made. The skirt consists of 3 layers so that it does not shine through. The length is good too. I have 5.7 inches and that's about the middle of a coffee. The purple color goes with the image pretty well and the lace detail is really pretty. I read all the reviews recommending ordering so I ordered 10 instead of my usual 8 and it was a mistake. He was too big in the chest and shoulders. But I slipped my usual lightly padded bra underneath and he filled it out. I wasn't too keen on the lace trim on the shoulder either. It's very still and gathered at the top which made me look very edgy. But I fixed it, and now it falls gently onto my shoulder. Much thinner appearance. Overall I'm glad I bought it, just a shame it's a bit bigger than it needs to be.
