Great sound in a small package

Bought one of these to try before ordering more for the new house we are building. My wife wanted music in our bathroom/bedroom and I was also interested in using one for the cover area. After receiving the one I ordered and just hooking it up to an 8" micca ceiling speaker that I'm installing as a speaker, I can tell you that I'll be ordering 3 more without hesitation! One for each of my children's rooms. The sound that comes out of this little device is amazing, doesn't shake the floor but doesn't need to either. Just solid sound in a very small package. My basement and the 12v power supply required to power each device separately. I believe this would be the easiest way, and that brings me to my only two issues with this unit, but in its defense, all these types of products suffer from the same questions: should the 12v power supply come from a separate source (why not integrated)? The other one doesn't have an on or off switch? When it has 12V it is on and stays on until 12V is turned off. Not sure if leaving them on 24/7 will shorten the lifespan of these devices, but I think I'll find out. after all, in my opinion there is currently no better alternative for the price, the sound and the compact housing. maybe in 1-5 years from no but right now my vote goes for this block.

Pros
  • Not just useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • There are flaws
