Yes, they are lightweight, easy to put on and take off, pack away and protect from snow/rain. NO CONDENSATION on the inside of the gaiter or on the pants after wearing them all day. What I like most is the adjustable plastic arch support; it's all in the gaiters, they don't freeze and gather snow/mud like most other brands of buckles.
