I ordered this item for a rather unusual reason and will (hopefully) not be using it for a while. I plan to be buried in a green graveyard in a shroud I made for myself. I've been told that the task of burial is made easier if the shroud has handles to lower my body into the pit, but all material must be natural and biodegradable. I'm pretty confident that this product will do the job. My plan is to take some strips and sew them to the bottom of the cape and pull up each side so there are some handles. The burlap is nice and well sewn so it doesn't crumble. I've tested its durability on several heavy objects and it seems to be quite durable. (I'm a small person and he won't have to support my body weight for long.) I apologize if anyone finds this topic uncomfortable, but I consider it my sacred duty to organize the burial of my remains in such a way that the one who remains behind, this task is not burdened. To put it simply, my main message here is that this is a beautiful, well-made product and I believe it will serve you well with whatever project you have in mind. It's great that it comes in a variety of widths so you can choose what works best for your needs.
