I've never bought a wrap dress but I adore the look. It took me about half a minute to figure out the strings. The sleeves were tight, but the area around the hips was looser than I expected. I could probably downsize. There is enough excess material on the sides of my thighs for me to gather and fold. Of course, the fit around my waist was perfect. The appearance reminded me of a beautiful robe. The material is flowy and comfortable, but this is not a thin dress. You can feel the weight of the dress when you hold it in your hands. In general I like the look. I'll probably wear a tank top underneath for more protection.
