I got this as a birthday present for my partner who happens to be the biggest Star Wars fan I've ever met. I know it's expensive for a cup but I thought it was worth it. We are both very happy. He loves it and I look like a rock star for giving him the coolest birthday present in the world. The graphic shows - when it's cold - lightsaber holsters with the names of those who owned the lightsabers. Pour a hot beverage into a mug and the sabers light up the right colors (according to the Star Wars nerd) and look very neat. The 20-ounce mug is huge, and it's insulated really well — meaning its coffee won't get cold anytime soon. That's good because this mug can't be washed in the microwave or dishwasher. We have been particularly gentle with this mug and only washed it with warm water and a little washing-up liquid on a soft sponge. It cleans easily. Remember that you can only wash by hand. It should never be microwave or dishwasher safe, and you should never use abrasive materials (not even the hard part of a sponge) to clean a heat-sensitive sticker. Bottom Line: This makes a great gift for a Star Wars fan, as long as they follow the directions and protect the mug properly. The only thing that confuses me is the cost as it's a lot of money for a mug even compared to other heat sensitive mugs. But it looks amazing!
