Review on 39859 Fox Run Brands Earthenware by Michael Hale

I don't usually like giving bad reviews so I decided to give this kettle three stars instead of two. In short, I'm disappointed. I was looking for a special kind of teapot, the brown Betty, which is made of red clay and keeps the tea hot. This clay teapot is much thinner than a regular brown Betty, so the tea cools too quickly for my liking. I have other issues with this: if you try to pour tea while it's *hot*, you risk burning your knuckles on the body of the kettle; the handle of the teapot becomes too hot to hold and pour hot tea; and the nose is dripping. I crochet a tea sleeve to solve the first problem (which also solves the tea cooling problem too quickly) and I know there are sleeves with grommets to solve the last problem. For the second problem I don't have a good solution. My husband and I will be more careful that our next kettle (which we are currently looking for on the market) is actually a brown Betty.
