I was skeptical about the buttons at first but as I have so many problems pressing the buttons on the side of the mouse I decided to give it a try. It's a little hard to get the hang of, but after a while I'm fine. Definitely an improvement in my gaming performance. The mouse itself is NOT weighted (as I'm used to) which I don't really like, but it's tolerable. I've thrown this thing off the couch onto the floor about 6 times (it keeps slipping off my mouse pad next to me) and it still works perfectly. When it comes to gaming, nothing beats an optical mouse. The design of this mouse strikes me as odd, but not uncomfortable. My hands are very comfortable. However, the cable is very long and since I use a laptop, this was annoying. I rolled something up and tied it with a crimped tie and the problem was solved. The only thing I would have preferred (other than the weight) about this mouse is that the software for it was included. It is not. I need to find and download it on the internet, which is not an easy task with my internet. For the price it wouldn't kill them if they included the disc or at least SOME instructions on where to find the software. If I haven't overlooked it, there was no booklet or anything on the box to tell you where it is. Have been using it for a week or so now and it's great. The color options for the mouse are also good.
