Tough, durable metal body with silicone-coated spray holes. It comes with a flexible metal hose that can be a little longer but is good enough to get the job done. You'll need to tighten the end of the hose well so it doesn't leak from the top, and if you do this you'll get an excellent seal. It gives off good hydropower (the washer restricting flow has been removed) and the jet is good enough to be used as a shower head. The plastic holder that mounts to the wall is designed to be screwed on, but we used Command's waterproof tape. Despite the good weight of the device, it holds up quite well. All in all a good buy that will last a long time. I gave 4 stars because the hose could be longer and I would have preferred a metal bracket rather than a plastic one.
