Did a simple test with the longest nozzle and bought a nozzle extender kit. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074DR2CDB/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The temperature of the adhesive exiting the long end of the nozzle was 368F with the gun setting at maximum and the adhesive pumped out at a constant rate , so I guess which is pretty good considering the 1.2 inch exposed copper tubing. The only minor downside is that the sides of the gun around the heating element get hot enough to loosen the adhesive on the labels. It's okay, the grip stays pleasantly cool. Looks like they designed a long case in the grip area to keep it warm. So minus the manufacturer since they lost the stigma on the gun. The cooking level works very well and I like the temperature display. It's mostly used for hobbies, so it's handy to have a built-in temperature reference when using foam and other low-melting-point materials. I give five stars without hesitation!
