Review on πŸ”¬ Scientist Glasses for Learning about Creatures by John Faxon

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great addition to any STEM activity in the classroom (or at home)

I ordered 20 of these to take to my son's preschool when I volunteer as a science teacher. These lab coats are a great addition to an early childhood development program for several reasons: 1. Safety - protect children's clothing and eyes from experiment content. Of course, we don't give them any caustic or toxic substances to experiment with when they are young, but even the soapy water used to make the stickiness is irritating to the eyes and sticks to clothes! Role Play - Students love to dress up and experiment energetically when wearing lab coats.3. Protection from Clutter - It's better to take these coats off and clean them than leave the students stuck in a dirty shirt for the rest of the day. 4. Education - Understanding why they wear these clothes helps them be more conscientious about safety and cleanliness. I deducted a star for the glasses. They slide down very easily with their small nose and therefore do not offer much eye protection. I prefer glasses with an elastic headband.
