Review on Logan 301 S Compact Mat Cutter by Amy Mcleod

Just received the Logan 301-S and tried it out recently. I don't know what the other reviewers were struggling with, but the angles and angles on my first rug were absolutely perfect and it was really, really easy. I would recommend a trial cut to make sure your lines line up with the cut line along the clamp bar, as mine was about 1/32 inch within that line on the first try, which ultimately didn't affect my result. Thing is, I measured it wrong and have yet to redo it. There's nothing about this cutter that I haven't found great. I've seen people complain about the size of the rug, and they are right about buying whole sheets. Like me, just ask the store to trim them down a bit for you (I'd recommend at least half), I paid $1 for each rug, which I think is worth it. I haven't tested straight cutting with this tool as I bought it used and it came with nothing but a 45 degree tool so I cut it to size before cutting the window.
