With growing feet I only ever hope to get 6 months off the shoe, which I think is ambitious if you have a child who wears them all day every day and gets a lot of exercise in them. However, I lasted 4 months in these shoes before a hole appeared in the toe seam (you know where shoes always fall apart - top, not bottom). So I was a bit disappointed that I didn't hit the 6 month mark but the shoe has given us daily wear for a solid 4 months so can't complain. I didn't have instant detangling like Saucony and some other brands.
