I usually wear jeans with a 31" waist and a 30" inseam, but I like motorcycle pants with a 32" waist. I bought pants with a 32-34" waist and 32" inseam. They fit perfectly! The pants have adjustable velcro straps on the sides to adjust the fit tighter or looser. The pants have lots of pockets. The two zippered front pockets were big enough to fit in my Samsung S9. I wore them for my beginner's MSF course because a scattered downpour was forecast. The day started at about 79 degrees with some sun. The pants were comfortable and I never felt hot. Jacket and these pants, everyone else wore jeans. While everyone complained about wet pants, my pants were very comfortable and kept me dry in the rain. waterproof. After the rain stopped, the inside of the pants was damp, but I attribute that mostly to my sweat. The pants themselves are breathable, but not so breathable that all sweat evaporates. It is similar to wearing a raincoat.
