The name "Ofeely" on some DJI specific parts confused me a little but it was under the DJI brand. and very, very well done. I've included a 720p version of the video I'm posting on YouTube, which will be part of the Osmo Mobile review anyway, but thought I could answer some questions I've seen elsewhere. My mountain bike's S-Works carbon/composite handlebars stayed in place under the weight of the Osmo Mobile and attached iPhone 6s Plus. In this configuration with the outer resin/TPU shell, it held up much better than the 1/4-20 action camera bike mount I attached the GoPro Hero4 Black to the Feiyu Tech WG gimbal (it slid down and rolled ). above the steering wheel). The mount and suspension worked great together, but.1. Is there a "shock absorber" or some kind of dampener on the mount? Partially. It has a spring of sorts that seems to use the friction of the anodized materials to slow the spring's stretch after it's compressed. It works pretty well in general.2. Is the clamp strong? I think so. I love it and plan to use it for other mounts like tripod crossbars, car chassis braces, etc. So I think it would be great to let you use your phone during an autocross or other track. where the gimbal can take the side load and the mount damper can handle the larger bumps that the car's suspension absorbed the most. Consider vlogging with a Polaris RZR or boat if you don't have GoPro sessions or aren't having much success. ;-)3. Is it easy to put on? Yes. The brass bushing that the eccentric (quick release) compresses is squared on the outside so it aligns properly, along with an inner cylinder that holds it right in the "claw" to allow it to slide outward and around the handlebars or those of The device you are using pivots. k. Because of this design, the lever does not have to be unscrewed completely to remove it, and in most cases when released it will likely loosen but not fully release the jaw. This would be similar to the "lawyer tabs" you see on mountain bike forks that don't use thru-axles or variations thereof. In short, it's great, but it's not going to turn your $1,000 smartphone into a GoPro, Garmin Virb, YI 4K or anything like that. Surprisingly, the FaceTime camera footage was amazingly smooth on my 6Fattie/27.5+ (27.5" x 3.0") full suspension mountain bike that rides like a trophy truck. I wouldn't want to focus on the phone, and since I do a lot of off-road riding (you'll see the Feiyu Tech WG/GoPro combo in action on my Pedals and Pinheads YouTube page), I'd be more concerned about that, too the phone and gimbal could break, that they could hurt me in case of an accident. So yes I like it. :-)
