Review on 💾 Newmodeus HDD / SSD Caddy Compatible with Lenovo Thinkpad T420, T430, T510, T520, T530, W510, W520, W530 by Chad Michels

This item is exactly as described and I could have taken the same photos of the unit supplied as in the description. Highly recommended! I put my newly purchased Seagate SSHD 1GB drive in the unit (it fits snugly but goes in with no problem). I installed the 4 screws that the cart came with. I put the caddy in my Lenovo T530. Did. It showed up on the system immediately upon boot and I haven't had any issues with it at all since I installed it (this SSHD contains images of the various VMs I run on my laptop). All in all it was worth every penny. A bonus was that it came with a DVD drive carrying case which it replaced. --- Do yourself a favor, DO NOT buy cheap knock-offs under $20 of Lenovo hard drives (any of them). Just take this and enjoy lower blood pressure. I tried to be frugal and bought one of the cheap fakes. It was a disaster. The cheap dolly was poorly made (paper thin), didn't look like the picture and "fits" in a Lenovo laptop the way a soccer ball "fits" in the bed of a pickup truck. Sure, you can put a soccer ball in the back of a truck, but there's nothing holding it down while it's there. Same goes for the cheap fake, it was floating in the drive bay. Based on the comments it seems like a company keeps reinventing themselves and/or selling under different names as they are all priced the same and all have the same negative comments about not being as advertised, bad ones quality and fit.
