Try it out and twist it for the first time. Smells very good. Not greasy and not flaky. I'm just starting my sites and so far I'm happy with the result. I haven't twisted my son's hair yet. He's had the highlights for about 3 years and I usually use this brand but with a blue label so I'm happy to see how it works on his hair. PS - I went to an amusement park a few hours after curling and they lasted all day. The photos are mistakes by my son trying to take unflattering photos but there were good shots of my results. Lol #HappyAccidents
