Review on ⚡️ SR18.5740 Sierra Voltage Regulator: Optimized for Enabling Smoother Electrical Flow by Richard Cunningham

Unfortunately Revain won't let me comment without reviewing the product and giving it an asterisk. I ordered this for my 2005 Maxum 1800MX with a 3.0 liter Mercruiser engine. According to the description it seems to fit my generator but after receiving the part, removing the generator and disassembling it doesn't fit at all. If your alternator looks like this - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0027Z0CTK - then this is NOT the right voltage regulator for you. Save yourself time and headaches. This may work for other Mercury engines/generators, but certainly won't work for all as the description suggests. I can't say generator. Now you know and can avoid the same mistake I made.
