Great little printer with great print quality and small size. Because it's wireless and tiny, you can put it in many places you might not have considered for a printer. Ours is on a table in our living room. The embedded embedded web server is great for monitoring the printer and checking toner life, and drivers are available for most platforms. If you're using Windows, HP actually embeds the drivers on the onboard memory chip and makes them available as soon as you plug in the USB cable. Very smooth and it works. For Mac, however, it's not that simple. For some reason, HP couldn't find space for the Mac driver in the onboard storage, so you'll need to download it or install it from a CD. However, the real problem with this printer is the wireless network setup. Since you can't just plug in an Ethernet cable and the Mac driver can't set up a USB network print server, you're left with the dubious ad hoc option of connecting to the printer and connecting to the embedded web server. After configuring the printer for use on your wireless network, restart the printer and pray that it works. If not, you'll have to reset it to default and start over. It took me a few tries and I do it for a living. To be honest, once configured it works great. While I understand HP's desire to keep this printer cheap with Wi-Fi capabilities, I would happily pay a little more for Ethernet and WiFi or a printer with more features. Drivers.Edit 21-8-2011: HP has released a firmware update for this printer that appears to fix many wireless setup issues on Mac OS, specifically OS X 10.7 Lion. I couldn't even get Lion to see this printer on my network. After updating the firmware, OS X will find the printer through Bonjour and offer to find and install drivers. The firmware is from 09/06/2011 and has the version 20110512 and even has an installer for Mac OS. Bravo HP for resolving these issues.
