I have naturally curly (2c to 3a) hair, long and thick. I don't have much experience with a straightener, but thought it would be interesting to try. This comb straightener is easy to use. It is adjustable between several different temperature settings ranging from 266º to 392º. I decided to try the straightener at the highest temperature and it warmed up fairly quickly. I was amazed that one pass was able to straighten my hair so that in just a few minutes all my hair was straighter than I had seen in years. The comb style is easy to use and very effective on my long hair - I love it. We also tried this straightener on my daughter's hair, which is shorter and thicker than mine. Her hair is harder to comb because it doesn't have much length and we also had to do it in small strands since it's very thick. It mattered, but she got better results with a flat iron.
