Do not use the gasket supplied

I installed this a few weeks ago and only recently noticed a hissing noise under the hood. After tracing it, I found that the gasket wasn't tight on the center stud. I have a factory service manual and made sure to follow the recommended tightening procedure when installing, so I'm not sure why this could have happened. I remember when I installed it it didn't sit as straight as I would have liked. Otherwise the collector himself was fine.
