I need a handheld steamer to jam the afghans I make. (Blocking is when you stretch and then steam the afghani on the board and then push to keep it in its rectangular shape). I bought and tried this model. The problems were that the steam only came out 6 inches from the spout and the water tank was too small for my purpose. Had to refill 5-6 times. Otherwise - this item is very good for removing wrinkles from clothing - it just didn't work for my purpose. I ended up buying a "Shark" steamer - with a 1 liter tank, steam spaced 12" apart and 8" wide. Perfect for my purpose!
