My husband spilled salsa on a $2500 Hancock & Moore chair. First I used the block Mr. Clean the magic eraser. It had the effect of sandblasting - so it removed the red color of the salsa but left a light circle with dark brown spots (see photo). I thought the chair was ruined. The gray (leather stain) matched perfectly and covered it well. I also used a clear leather top coat after the stain dried. I know where the stain is, but I don't think you would have noticed if you hadn't looked. Overall the leather stain worked great, was very light and saved the chair.
