I bought this pillow together with the Support Plus footrest pillow. I leave it in the living room and use the Xtra-Comfort in the bedroom. They're really different pillows, but I like them for different reasons. The Xtra-Comfort is slightly taller in height, as is the platform part where my foot rests. It's also a bit cooler, which helps a lot in the bedroom where I always have a duvet. Finally, the Xtra-Comfort is much stronger than the Support Plus and has small rubber dots on the bottom of the cushion to keep it in place. I appreciate that it keeps its shape as I toss and turn at night and stays in place. The only real problem with this pillow is that it's very stiff. It really doesn't give much when I lean against it with my foot (which is in a cast). There is a thin layer of memory foam on top of the pillow and I think that makes a difference. I just think it would be better if the support foam wasn't so dense. If you're a little shorter than me (mine is 5ft 8) you might prefer the Support Plus, but for the big boys this is definitely the pillow of choice.
