Even though this was a little expensive- it got the job done.I had just bought a pair of boots that fit great, except the toe-area was too tight. I did keep the device in my boots for 48 hours each, but it was well worth the wait. I now have the room I need for my toes and the boots still look like new- the leather doesn't look like its been stretched.The only reason I took one star off was because of the lack of instructions. I did have a little bit of trouble getting the handle to turn the very first time I used the FootFitter, and would have appreciated having to something to refer back to- especially given the cost. But really, it's a minor quibble (I would actually give the product 4 1/2 stars if I could), I eventually got the handle to turn and after that all was well.
