The trash can is very cute, inside there is a plastic container, easy to throw away and clean! I attached mine to the back of the passenger seat headrest so it doesn't get in the way. The strap allows you to adjust the height as you like. You can also mount it on the back of the center console, but I had rear seat controls so I couldn't put mine there. The bin is a bit smaller than I expected, so it's definitely not suitable for long-term use with large glasses/mugs. I usually use mine for small wraps from fast food restaurants etc.
