This is not annoying because the repair itself is "difficult" (although it is connected and takes some time - it took me a good 45 minutes) but due to this manufacturer's very low ball/corner cutoff: 1.) The main image on this page contains an "adhesion" blue screen. He didn't come with one. The main reason I bought this set from the 10+ others available is because this one supposedly offered that. 2.) The video that the provider sends you contains advertising due to monetization. Serious? Have you decided to monetize your "how to" video? So as you watch the video, 2 consecutively add the popup you can't miss. Imagine having to rewind/rewind a bit to see this key part. Sigh 3.) The video is very slow (almost unbearable) in places - those are the obvious parts, and then some important points are skipped entirely. A specific example that I can think of ends up showing just the detached second (single) screen tape, and the next frame of the video shows you the attached tape. I had to figure out which way to twist the cable (it turns out 90*) and how to attach it. If you did, easy, but I can see it being really frustrating for someone as the "easier" way to attach it is not to rotate it. Even more annoying was the camera angle/zoom level when removing the earbud/light sensor/camera module strap attachment. This is perhaps the most difficult part of the entire renovation and was one of the worst camera jobs ever. After that, the camera's good work kicks in again, putting it all together. Thanks, but that's not helpful at all. 4.) The camera module holder (the white plastic piece that aligns the camera with the hole on the screen) is NOT moving on the video. Watch iFix it and other videos for comparison. Worse - the new case didn't have a camera module mount! Without this mount, the camera cannot stay in place when you move/shake/walk with your phone. If it moves even a millimeter, it will no longer align within the hole. If you review alternative cases, "Quality" - new replacements are pre-configured with camera orientation. It looked like another thing they skimped on. I removed the old one from the old screen and reused it. 5.) Tools are terribly cheap. I know they're disposable tools, but they were just "extra" cheap. To the point where the screwdriver started snapping the last screw. The screen pick broke when cutting through the adhesive after heating. I have literally never used worse tools. All the other screen/battery replacement "kits" I've bought to date have come with disposable/temporary tools. Glad I had good tools. However, it is positive that the tools supplied were at least magnetized. I have to give them that as most "cheaper" tools from other manufacturers are not magnetized. I know it's easy to make them magnetic, but almost everyone skips this, so that's a plus! 6.) There were no replacement adhesive "nubs" for the speaker/light sensor/camera module in the kit. There are two places where a sticky "bulge" remains when removing from the old case. It would be nice to include that. Some other sets at the same price included it. All in all, they seemed to drop the price in all sorts of places. I would recommend going to another supplier for a replacement screen + digitizer.
