I have Ehler-Danlos Syndrome and have used several different knee braces including those prescribed by a doctor. I broke my ankle and since I can't use crutches due to a wrist injury, I use a knee roller. The stabilization of my knee on the uninjured leg that I had to move wasn't very good. I have used various knee pads and then tried this one. I needed one that would give me mobility while still providing solid support. To my surprise, it supports very well, it hasn't stretched in the month I've been wearing it. This is by far the best runner for knee support without the metal brace and velcro straps that make it great for mobility.
