Type of review

So I bought this because I'm going crabbing with friends in Oregon. We'll be on a boat. I wanted to make sure if I fall overboard they'll be able to find me and this will sure fit the bill! LOL! Seriously, I haven't used this yet so couldn't give a full review. But I've tried it on and even tho it seems a tiny bit large I'm told that's a good thing if I ever need to use it for something like a tent or other type of shelter, which is one of the things it's supposed to be good for. I decided on a

Pros
  • Fit the bill!!
Cons
  • May not be breathable, causing discomfort and sweating

Outdoor person? This is a must

Great product. Very roomy. I’m 6’4” 350 lbs and it fits just right. The Velcro side is a huge plus. The poncho fabric is nice and thick. And an amazing price

Pros
  • Versatile design can be worn over multiple layers of clothing
Cons
  • May cause chafing or irritation in sensitive areas

Great product - my new review

I keep this in my camping day pack. It is durable and well-made. It is generous in size and by that I mean it basically covers you from top to tail. This will definitely keep you dry hiking!

Pros
  • Backpacks, Bags & Accessories
Cons
  • May not be waterproof in heavy rain conditions

Nice Weight: my feedback

I'm very pleased with the weight of the poncho. I'm 5' 4 1/2" tall and it covers the back of my knees just fine. I haven't used it yet, waiting for the rainy season in Florida which starts in June.

Pros
  • Used to them the big ringstone we had
Cons
  • Heavy and may not be ideal for long hikes or treks

Durability is the key for this item.

Good heavy material, is very nice i think it might be a little short, I am a guy who go backpacking around the world and I believe it will do the job.

Pros
  • Waterproof fabric prevents water from seeping through or gathering in pockets
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use while backpacking or traveling

Well made with good quality material

The ponchos -- bought two, one adult and one child size for my dog. We will use them while riding in my side-by-side to keep wind and rain off of us. He can stand cold, but neither of us like cold wind. Haven't actually tried them yet but can't see why they won't do the trick as an windbreaker over our coats.

Pros
  • High-quality materials prevent rips or tears, even after extended use
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use in extreme cold weather conditions

Not really light-weight and more than advertized

On my scales I am 1.2 pounds heavier holding this poncho vs. just me. I was surprised because I would have guessed closer to 2 pounds. The description says 11 oz .or about half the weight that my item weighed. Granted, there could be some error factor in my digital scale, but that's how it read out. For $20 it might be fine as a backup for rainy days at the cabin or perhaps a giveaway rather than returning it, but I cannot say I am happy with the product, because I wanted something light that…

Pros
  • Essential gear for camping and hiking trips in rainy or unpredictable weather
Cons
  • Can be easily damaged by sharp or pointed objects

Elk hunting multi purpose ponch

I was searching for an lightweight weather poncho when I came across this product. I ordered it and am very impressed by the quality of the poncho. It’s lightweight yet seems very durable. I really like the ability to make a secure fir around my neck and head to keep me dry. The grommets in the corners would be great if I ever needed to make an emergency shelter in the mountains. Very quality product.

Pros
  • color
Cons
  • Only comes in one size which may not fit all body types

Great quality - my new review

I love this poncho. Better quality than expected. Received in record time & packaging was perfect.I will probably use the carry bag it came in for something else as I don’t see myself putting poncho back in bag although you can easily do this. I needed something to throw on to walk my dog on windy/rainy New England days.I’m going to test it out in a couple of days when rain is expected. Very happy with purchase & price was just right. Thank you again.

Pros
  • Backpack Accessories
Cons
  • May become too hot in direct sunlight

Great Poncho for sporting event viewing

Bought this to use for watching a November football playoff game in Michigan. High winds, gusting to 50 mph, heavy rain intervals and cold. It kept me dry. The snaps on the arms held against a stiff wind, no tearing. Was able to fit this over my hoody-carhart coat combo and have enough poncho left to cover my daughter's legs who was only in a waist rain coat.Arrived and it did not have any of the strong chemical aroma's I have noticed in other economy poncho's. For the money, this is the best…

Pros
  • Seems waterproof & strong enough to last. Haven’t used it in the rain yet.
Cons
  • May cling to skin in humid conditions

Kept me & my Backpack Dry

This Product worked as expected during the rain we had because of the Hurricane coming up the west coast. My backpack & I stayed dry the whole time! I like that this is a small Company ran by 2 Sisters. I will buy their products again & I 100% recommend them.

Pros
  • We don’t talk about Bruno!
Cons
  • May not be durable in the long run

Perfect for wheelchair users!

I use a power wheelchair with mounted iPad/AAC (speech device) and Bluetooth keyboard. Going outside in the rain with a keyboard was not really possible--till now! Ventured to the doctor's appointment and stayed dry! I may need something for my feet, but I am THRILLED beyond belief at having found this. It's made of a nice thick plastic and is super easy to put on/off and roll into storage later.I have a Rovi X3 powerchair with 40" width. If I didn't have the mounted tray and iPad, it would…

Pros
  • Is as described! Recommend for all!!
Cons
  • May take up too much space in a backpack

Very lightweight & comfortable

Bought this poncho for my MTV Scream cosplay and I love it the compliments are crazy but most importantly this product is fantastic!

Pros
  • Lightweight and compact, making it easy to carry in your backpack or emergency kit
Cons
  • May not be suitable for hunting or fishing

Poncho Quality in my review

This Poncho is great for what I need, a Poncho that is light and folds up into a zip carry sleeve. I can put it in my backpack when riding my Bike in South Florida where it has been raining like Noah's Flood is coming, lightweight, and easy on easy off. Great!

Pros
  • Offers excellent value for money, as it is built to last for years
Cons
  • May not be suitable for activities that require a full range of motion

This product is an excellent value. Provides rain protection and allows mobility and access to pockets. Loose fitting to prevent prespiration while wearing it. I would definitley buy this product again.

Pros
  • Easy to pack and store when not in use
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use during lightning storms

Heavy Duty Rain Cover Clothing

The storage bag sewing was flawed. That's my feedback. The poncho is heavy and not very compact. It works very good in rain conditions.

Pros
  • Wore it first morning of deer season stayed dry
Cons
  • May not provide complete coverage in extreme weather conditions

Good poncho for my opinion

Durable but packaged larger and heavier than expected. Also hard to put in carrier bag if wet. Bag about the size of printer paper. We used them at Disney. Took up a good chunk of my mini backpack space. Make sure you set up buttons ahead of time. You will need to hang poncho to dry and flip carrier inside out to dry between uses.

Pros
  • Feels great. Looks like good quality. Have to wait for rain to test how well it works.
Cons
  • May not be machine washable

Excellent product! in my review

The poncho is great and durable! I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a lightweight, durable poncho. It is large enough to cover me and my backpack. It is also long which is great because your legs do not get wet at all.

Pros
  • Camping & Hiking
Cons
  • Not suitable for use as a tent or shelter

I bought this poncho towards the end of July, to have it when rainy season came along. This is the end of September and the first time I was going to use the poncho. Taking it out of the box it felt way too heavy for what I expected. On Revain it says the poncho is 11 ounces. Not true! I checked it on an electronic food scale. On the scale it came in at 801 grams, which is about 28 ounces. It's way too heavy to haul around on a backpacking trip. Looks nice, and might be great for a short day…

Pros
  • So awesome. Put this on and got lost in the mirror for a sec.
Cons
  • May not be as effective as other rain protection options

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Better than the competition.

This poncho is very close to the military version. I have bought the competition’s poncho and it was ripstop material but very thin and doesn’t repel water like it should. The Lingito poncho will definitely keep you dry. The material is thicker and it is coated with a rubbery material. The poncho rolled up will fit in a cargo pocket with room to spare. I’m very satisfied with the product. In fact I bought 4 of them

Pros
  • It was heavier than the thin .15 mm ponchos. It should be more durable.
Cons
  • Lacks hood adjustment options
