Joining the design team behind the Xvive U3. As a videographer, I naturally consider sound to be the most important part of any production. The U3 is reasonably priced and does many of the necessary things when setting up a video/audio event. I've used it to connect microphones wirelessly; Active speakers, replaced long XLR cables and found it worked great. I'm sure I will find more creative ways to use this amazing product. No audio kit should contain at least one of these devices. Since the development team of this company is dedicated to creating new innovative audio devices, I have a request: please create a system with one transmitter and multiple receivers on the same frequency. There would be many applications. You can output the microphone or source signal to multiple receivers, camcorders, home sound systems, recorders, etc. Also, 2) look for a replaceable battery for longer life. Again, I think this device is priced right, has a great design, and has very good features. Thank you, that's unique! Update: This device never ceases to amaze me. I ordered a second unit and found that the U3 does exactly what I suggested above: you can use 1 transmitter on a given channel (like channel 3) and two receivers on the same channel and receive the same transmission from a given source . For years I've wanted a system that would allow me to have one microphone transmitter that could be received by my home sound system and another that would fit in my camera. No wireless microphone system I've owned has been able to do this with two standard receivers on the same frequency. My god I love U3.
