DO NOT BUY! Best in Fish & Aquatic Animals Category

Please do not buy these artificial plants, these plants should not be sold out loud. I bought it because of the high star rating. As you can see from the photos, green color will bleed out of them just because you wash them with water, so you definitely don't want to put them in a water tank with your beloved pets.

Perfect for my betta fish!

I love these plants! I ordered them before I received my fish. I did some research and found that milkweed plants are better than plastic plants. They are soft and won't tear or damage your rooster's fin. The green plant is smaller than shown in the picture. Colors are also true to the image, very bold and vibrant. They look great in my 3 gallon aquarium and my fish (whom I named Marvin) loves to sleep in red plant leaves. I just put the balls in the gravel at the bottom of the tank and they…

priced higher than rated

1. Medium is not good for 8 gallons, too big and will overload tank, undersized for 16 gallons and looks ugly.2. I washed them for an hour and had water coloring, even after I put them in the fish tank, I had water coloring (green).3. overpriced and they're not that special compared to the cheap ones you buy in pet shops, maybe they're better quality but I doubt it.4. only the central part is worth it in the whole set, the rest not so much. I'll add photos later. I will use them temporarily and

My Favorite Artificial Plants

I am very pleased with the appearance and quality of these artificial aquarium plants. While not silk, they are still 100% soft and pliable enough to have in my betta tanks; They don't damage the fins at all. My bettas even like to hide and rest in these plants. I like that they are easy to clean (much easier than silk) and frankly look pretty good in an aquarium. I think most fake plants look awful and tasteless, especially the cheapest ones. so I usually just put live plants in most of my…

The best milkweed plants I have ever seen

I like them very much. I bought them for 4 different tanks. I bought small (red and green) and 2 medium (green and purple). First, the leaves are actually silky. There are no torn fins here! Second, they are the right size for a roosterfish. I also have live plants but they are really good for bettas to nap on. You will most likely have algae. I use well water so there is no chlorine in the faucet so I just rinse them and wash off the algae from time to time. If you have chlorine, make sure you

Like (Revised!)

Like (Revised!) I love these silky leafed plants for our 3 gallon Betta aquarium. They hold up fairly well and are a good size for a small aquarium (green is about 6 inches, red is about 7 inches). The fish likes to hide and doze in it. NOTE: The stems are plastic (but no sharp edges) and the leaves are soft silk. (Betta's fins are very fragile and we've had issues with plastic plants damaging his tail/fins in the past). HOWEVER, at the bottom of the plant's base, short, sharp, prickly pieces…

Broken, missing parts, fade quickly!

I am so upset with this product. I bought last year (2020) for Christmas and in January we opened everything to set up an aquarium. Upon opening I saw that one of the shells was broken but my girls were still interested I use them to this day. I also noticed that two of the plants didn't have the weight to hold it like the others so I had to hold them with other plants. 3 months have passed, I wash the aquarium regularly and the paint is already coming off! No, I don't clean the plants, I just…

Nice and perfect fit

Ugh the biOrb brand stuff is expensive! However, I have to admit that the quality is much better than the cheaper brand. I have the classic Baby biOrb on my desktop and everyone loves to watch the fancy fish digging. I had a few biOrb decorations in his aquarium to start with, but I really wanted a complete matching set, so I thought this Flower Garden Basic Set should be my first choice. The decorations have enough weight to stay on the aquarium floor, which is a great thing considering how…

Almost perfect for plastic plants

Overall, I really like this set. It is so pretty and can be combined very well. It has a magical and relaxing atmosphere. I bought a 4 gallon tank for my biorb life. There wasn't enough space to include all of the decor as there was only one set available for the 8 gallon version so I left out the shells and stars. The plants alone go very well, and that gives me the freedom to mix them up a bit in the future. There are two reasons I did not give this product a five star rating: 1. I bought a…
