I installed this on my 2018 RAV4 GLE which has Lane Departure Warning. Because of this, there is a piece of plastic that covers the mount of the mirror on the windshield and an extension (50-BRKTEXT) needs to be installed to allow you to adjust the mirror properly. I don't blame the mirror for this problem as the installer would probably have known about it. What worries me a bit is the around 2mm thick border (right where the black plastic is likely to be on a regular mirror) that doesn't darken at all. Not the end of the world, unless you drive a lot at night in busy areas, so I'm only deducting one star. The mirror has a fairly short arm, so after installation your mirror may be taller than the factory mirror. . After I ordered 50-EXTBRKT from WalMart (of all things) for 2nd day delivery and the mirror was installed, the previously almost invisible DVR under the mirror became visible. This isn't really a problem as I think a higher mirror position actually allows you to see better over the heads of those sitting in the back seats. Just something to be aware of. Both sun visors still don't hit the mirror and the addition of Homelink is really nice! If they remove the non-dimmable part of the mirror I believe it will probably be a 5 star product. Especially when they either offer the option of using a factory bracket or they add multiple brackets of different lengths to the box, eliminating the need for an extension bracket for some installations. Gentex's (or Mito's) website doesn't have a mapping table for different vehicles, so I had to read up on the extension bracket in the questions section of that page. But overall a good product. Update: I noticed that there is now a "Long Neck" version of this mirror on Revain. It might suit a 2018 RAV4 better, but I haven't tried it. I recently removed all fasteners and smeared blue Loctite on all bolts because the installer couldn't and it was loose. Since my GLE has a Safety Sense feature (lane departure warning) which adds a plastic cover around the mirror, I found page 11 of this guide extremely helpful: sorry. Revain removed the link Update 2: I upgraded the rating to 5 stars as I've found that a 1-2mm border that doesn't darken doesn't bother me at all. I LOVE this mirror! As always, the homelink feature works great every time. Great mirror and huge upgrade from Toyota POS in stock.
