I read a lot of reviews about small cotton candy machines and I doubted that they would work. I think the people who had trouble didn't read the instructions. The device needs to warm up for 10 minutes before use and you need to use the right kind of lollipop. We've used a variety of lollipops (avoiding NOT using the ones mentioned in the instructions) and had no problems. I'm also surprised at how easy it is to clean the device despite having a lollipop inside. I just use lots of hot water to clean and it happens instantly.
