Review on 🌎 Globe Electric Integrated Recessed 91071: Streamlined Lighting Solution for Modern Spaces by Jared Coleman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A good lamp could use a little improvement.

I have ordered many different low profile IC rated LED lights like this one to test for an upcoming project. Light output, dimming levels, CRI and color temperature appear to be accurate. The manufacturer name Globe Electric is known to me and has been known for a long time. Others like NickLED, Getinlight and Cloudy Bay which I've never heard of, which in itself doesn't mean they're out of service, but LED lights don't always last as long as advertised and I prefer the name I know it's been a while Build quality seems decent, although not as solid as some of the others I've tried. Since it's not being handled every day, this isn't a huge issue as it can withstand shaking during installation, which I think it should. All the 4 inch lights I've tried are actually different sizes. the size of the hole in the ceiling, not the fixture itself. The overall size of this fixture is 5 1/8 inches, while the fixture's pivot is 4 inches in diameter and the frosted plastic lens is 3 inches in diameter. less drafts, although the 1/2" flange depth isn't as deep as some of the others, so use a hole saw to poke holes in the ceiling rather than a handsaw or hammer, or your 4" hole could get too big. big. When paired with a Lutron TGCL-153PH dimmer it worked flawlessly with no hum or flicker and dimmed down to what appeared to be 10% with no issues. The support ring and the inner ring of the lens have two different shades of white, one warm and one cool. Most people won't notice, but of course I do for these two items, I combine them with one star.
