Bought this to safely take our adventurous new kitty to a nearby trail. He loves it and the bag adds little to no weight when carried in his backpack. My only complaint is the lack of comfort lining as stated in the instructions. I'm guessing that's just coming from my only purchase option at the time it was 'needed' and whoever used it chose to keep the comfort pillow when returning it. That in itself is not a big problem as I use a soft folded towel for him to ride on. However, the product appears to have been specifically designed to be used without the Velcro comfort pad. The lower base panel is not held in place by the four Velcro straps inside the carrier, so the lower base panel shifts and slides easily, allowing the rear base panel to slip out of its own straps, leaning forward over the kitten and making the youngster more cramped .
