It's great that we can meet new people from all over the world in our city, especially if it's one of those areas where there are not many tech companies or startups. The app has been updated recently so everything works properly now (even though I have no idea why they changed this). You need some followers on your profile first for notifications! Don't worry too much as long as you're active and use the app regularly you will get notified when someone likes/comments/retweets your posts (I'm assuming most users follow each other already anyway?). Meet new people who share similar interests as yourself and expand your circle of friends outside of work. We were able to connect with people from all walks of life, some even live abroad.
