The chair is beautiful, elegant and goes well with home decor. Doesn't look very office. I found it very difficult to assemble myself as it involved screwing in screws that didn't go in easily while lying on my back trying to pull the back of my chair to sit properly. If I were strong enough to lift the whole chair myself I could turn it upside down and then turn it over when I'm done, but this chair is very heavy. I recommend having two people to assemble this. Once assembled, the instructions for adjusting the chair are WRONG. To adjust the backrest, do not lift it, but slide it down step by step. You just have to lift it, slide it all the way down and then take it up step by step. Most importantly, do not raise the back high enough to allow the lumbar support to reach the lower back. I'm 5'5", so it shouldn't be weird to expect it to fit me. Instead, it's too low so I don't have back support and I'll probably need to use a pillow for this to work. about 3 inches more, it will probably work. I'm so disappointed. This works great if you just sit back and stare at the ceiling.
