Review on ☕ CoffeeZone Cappuccino Saucer Barista Coffee by Devin Jirsa

Revainrating 5 out of 5

SO durable! Coffee shop feels right at home here

I felt the need to stop what I was doing and urgently wrote this review. I've had two of these mugs for almost a year, so why so urgently? Well, I dropped one while washing - again. I've dropped and hit and smashed these things so many times; so often. It's not the cups. It's all because of my own clumsiness and some sort of pandemic + kids - inspired by the everlasting sense of urgency that has dogged me for so long. In any case, there are no scratches to be seen on these things. There are a few minor scuffs on the blue and to be honest I'm not sure if I tried they wouldn't go away. The white looks the same as the day I took it out of the box. Every time I see one of these things fly out of my soapy hand, I think it's going to be the last time. Every time I ruthlessly smash a heavy steel portafilter into one of them while they're standing harmlessly in the sink, I think it'll be the last time. But no; they endure. A few minutes ago I tried putting one of these on an overflowing dryer. He fell off the top of the 9x13 pan, hit the steel sink and bounced back into the steel sink, tumbling all the way. Everything is OK. You deserve this rating, little cup. In addition, they are very drinkable. The rims are quite thick. They are very similar to the ones our local coffee shop uses. They are the perfect size for a traditional Starbucks cappuccino. It's basically what you get at any bar across Italy.

Pros
  • Professional Latte Art/Cappuccino/Americano cup shape
Cons
  • Little things
