I got this dress for Christmas pictures after our photographer suggested I wear an outfit that make me center of attention. I am 5’9” and 155lbs so I also wanted something that would be flattering without hugging all the wrong places. This dress knocked that expectation out of the park. I felt straight out of a 50’s tv show in this dress and people were staring at me left and right and telling me I looked incredible. I have never been more complimented in a dress. I opted to do what other reviews said and purchase a crinoline skirt to go under it and I’m so glad I did. It added just the right amount of glamour and twirl to the dress and was the added spark it needed. It also helped hide my midsection so well. The fabric is very soft but also holds up well. There’s a stretch to the fabric. I did wash this on cold and hang dry prior to wearing. I also ran an iron over it to smooth out any creases. I highly recommend this dress to anyone who is looking to dress like a total knockout!
